On the day of the wedding, I will arrive 2-3 hours before the ceremony or reception to begin the painting. I will continue painting up to 5 more hours. You and your guests will be entertained by the creation process. I use Acrylic paint so there is no odor to worry about. After the wedding, I will bring the painting back to my studio to complete the final touches.  In approximately 4-8 weeks after the wedding date, you will receive a preview of your painting by email. At that time the painting can be shipped, or delivered to you and your family to appreciate for many years to come. Prints and greeting cards can be made of the finished painting as a keepsake for family and guests.

Do you travel?

Yes! In addition to serving the Greater Austin area I am available to travel worldwide.

How soon should I book my date?

Each date is first come first serve. Brides may want to book months in advance to reserve their wedding date. However, please do not hesitate to ask if your wedding or event is just around the corner. I may have an opening! A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date.

What does the artist require during the event?

I will bring my own supplies, including paints, brushes, the canvas, and the easel. It is ideal to have a 6ft. by 6 ft. space set aside in your event floor plan as this allows for plenty of space for me to paint, as well as for guests to observe the painting in progress. This space will need to provide a clear view of the subject of the painting, and from the desired perspective such as the first dance or cake cutting. I will require access to an electrical outlet for the lamp used on my easel.

Are guests able to talk to the artist during the event?

Absolutely! I welcome and encourage guests to enjoy the painting progress! I am able to paint and interact with your guests simultaneously. It is great entertainment for guests as most have never seen a painting in progress!

When will I receive the finished painting?

The painting is started and worked on during the event, I will bring the painting back to the studio for a majority of the detail work. The painting will then be available for preview 4-8 weeks after the event date. At that time, delivery will be arranged and prints can be ordered of the original painting.

Can prints be made of my original painting?

Absolutely! Reproductions of your original painting can be made on paper, canvas and even as Thank You Notes. Please see above link for pricing details.

Can a painting be made from photos?

Yes, a painting can be made from photos.  Other ideas for paintings from photos include Engagement Painting, Cake Painting, Dress Painting, Bouquet Painting, Church Painting, Honeymoon Painting, and even Baby's First birthday party. If you can dream it, I can paint it.
